Ghost looking shipwreck of the Khrabryy, Russian destroyer, near Vladivostok, Sea of Japan, Russia


The ship was never completed as a destroyer. Construction was stopped in 1963 and the ship was completed as a floating power plant in 1969. It was used until 1982 when it was partly scrapped. The picture above shows the ship in 2003 while the GE imagery is from 2007. The time difference explains the presence of the (gravel) pier in the GE view. It looks like the wreck is used as a pier for small boats now.
